DONALDSON EXPANDS ENGINE FILTRATION MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN INDIA

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – July 20, 2009 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, announced today the opening of the company's expanded manufacturing facility in Gurgaon, State of Haryana, India.

In 1994, Donaldson opened the Gurgaon, India facility to manufacture Gas Turbine Engine intake systems and air filters. Manufacturing capacity was expanded in 1999 with the establishment of the Engine Systems & Parts' Radial Seal air intake filtration manufacturing capability. The 2009 capacity enhancement triples the size of the previous plant and includes an in-house Engine product design facility for system solutions sought after by local OEM customers.

The new 70,000 square foot facility will primarily produce air filtration products (such as air cleaners and air elements) and hydraulic filtration systems for the engine and vehicle and gas turbine markets. Donaldson's expansion in this region will provide reduced costs associated with the importing of products from other locations and improved customer support.
