FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DONALDSON to Present DIESEL EXHAUST EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND DURABILITY at the 2nd International CTI Forum
MINNEAPOLIS, June – 18, 2009 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to announce participation in the 2nd International Car Training Institute (CTI) Forum being held 24-25 June 2009 in Constance, Germany.
Dr. Korneel De Rudder, System Development Manager Exhaust Aftertreatment at the Donaldson Coordination Center in Belgium will present a technical paper on the “Influence of exhaust aftertreatment packaging on SCR performance and deposit formation.” The presentation will give an overview of the latest improvements in exhaust gas aftertreatment systems targeting future diesel engine emission legislation. This work is the result of the advancements by Donaldson’s emission development teams in both Europe and the U.S., together with Donaldson Co. Corporate Technology Research.
Donaldson was invited to present at this conference after receiving positive feedback from a previous CTI presentation conference last January. This presentation represents the culmination of the groups’ collective work and specifically addresses how to eliminate urea deposits and optimize the SCR performance through advancements in aftertreatment packaging. This work is a continuation of the papers presented at the Diesel Engine-Efficiency and Emissions Research (DEER) Conference last August and at the SAE World Conference in April.
More information on this conference can be found at: www.car-training-institute.com/off-highway. The conference proceedings will be available via the same website following the event.
