TETRATEX®: TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE!
For twenty years, Tetratex filter media has been a major player within the Cement Industry and has gained an excellent reputation, evidence of which will be shown when Donaldson Membranes visit Russia for PetroCem, the 5th Annual Cement Conference & Exhibition. This high-profile event is to be held at the Hotel Astoria in St Petersburg, 20-22nd April 2008.
Production and environmental demands being placed on Russian and CIS cement production facilities is increasing and never before has the need for technically advanced filter media been so high.
Due to speak at the forthcoming PetroCem event, Callum Baxendale, Industrial Filtration Market Manager at Donaldson Membranes believes reducing particulate emissions, increasing filter element life, preventing production restrictions, minimising energy costs and optimising baghouse performance to be the main reasons for the increasing selection of Tetratex as the filter media of choice for cement applications.
Regarding his presentation at the event Baxendale commented “After introducing delegates to Donaldson as a Company, I will focus on the current Tetratex product range, detailing the features and benefits whilst drawing on case studies of successful installations. I will also be focusing on the comparative principles of ‘depth’ against ‘surface’ filtration with ePTFE membrane media, giving an explanation of the differences between each.
As growth in the Russian Construction Industry continues, Donaldson Membranes is aware that current cement production volumes fall short of the required demand and the need for new production capacities is key to the success of the industry. The installation of Tetratex ePTFE membrane filter media is proven in helping to provide improved performance for fabric filters dedusting kilns, raw mills, coal mills, alkali bypass systems, clinker coolers and finish mills.
The Tetratex filter media range will be on display at Stand Number 6, Hotel Astoria, at the dedicated exhibition zone, situated next to the main conference area.
