FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DONALDSON MEMBRANES CAUSED AN EXTREME
CHEMICAL REACTION AT EXPOQUIMIA 2008
20th-24th October, Gran Via Exhibition Centre, Barcelona, Spain
The recent Expoquimia exhibition in Barcelona provided Donaldson Membranes with the perfect platform to continue the launch program for the next generation of ePTFE membrane, Tetratex® EXTREME
The show is a key event for the chemicals market, attracting scientists, business people and specialist engineers looking for problem solutions, products and innovative developments across all chemistry-related disciplines and industries.
Tetratex EXTREME has been developed to meet the exacting needs of demanding chemical applications, providing increased airflow, reduced pressure drop and less frequent cleaning cycles, resulting in energy savings and reduced costs.
Bringing about improvements to a wide range of applications within a variety of chemical manufacturing processes, giving improved collection efficiencies, airflow and throughput, often increasing production levels beyond those previously possible.
Industrial Filtration Market Manager, Callum Baxendale said: “Expoquimia gave us an excellent opportunity to meet with current and prospective clients and show them the increased airflow capabilities of our new Tetratex EXTREME membrane.
“The Membranes team members were on hand to answer any questions guests had about their own specific filtration needs and which products would best suit their requirements”.
Utilising 20 years of Tetratex ePTFE membrane technology, Donaldson Membranes is continually developing filtration solutions for chemical applications in close co-operation with our customers.
The Company portfolio comprises a wide range of products which can increase collection efficiencies, reduce energy consumption and reduce environmental emissions – three of the biggest challenges facing the chemical industry today.
Tetratex High Performance ePTFE membrane filter media can provide solutions for a range of chemical production processes, including: Calcining; Milling; Kilns; Dryers; Micronising; Classifying and Venting.
The Tetratex ePTFE membranes - Tetratex Release; Tetratex; Tetratex EXTREME, Tetratex High Efficiency and Tetratex Ultra High Efficiency when employed with a suitable substrate, cover a temperature range up to 260°C.
