System Design

Designing, developing, prototyping, testing and manufacturing a range of vacuum and sweeper filters for a range of applications, from a variety of media, sub-assemblies (pleat packs), primary filters and final filters, to help with a system design or any combination of these, our team will be with you every step of the way.

Donaldson filters offer a washable high-efficiency vacuum cleaner filter to enhance performance and protect from premature wear. We supply a range of primary filters and final filters trapping dirt on the surface Available with HEPA Filtration (99.97% efficient at 0.3 microns) or High Efficiency Filtration (99.7% efficient at 0.3 microns), for wet and dry applications.

Efficient filters stop particles and pollutants that are drawn into the vacuum from re-entering the air through your vacuum cleaner's exhaust. HEPA filters can trap particles as small as 0.3 microns or 1/300th, such as bacteria, dust, pollens and many allergens. It is imperative that good quality air is maintained in indoor environments particularly for those suffering from respiratory conditions. Vacuuming with a high efficiency filter will help to fight against this.

Standard Filter Media vs. Donaldson Cleanable Filter Media

Standard filter media is depth loading, while Donaldson cleanable filter material is surface loading, stopping particles on its surface. The cleanable media won’t clog and particles fall off easily.

Dura-Life™ Hydroentangled Felt

Dura-Life™ polyester filter media is engineered with a hydroentangledment process that offers unique filtration efficiency, airflow and durability.

Suitable for bag filter and pre-filter applications

Ultra-Web® Electrospun Nanofiber

Ultra-Web Electrospun Nanofiber media is made up of a web of submicron fibres that trap dust particles at the surface of the filter.

Suitable for applications that require high-efficiency filtration with low pressure drop.

Tetratex ePTFE Membrane

Tetratex ePTFE comprises of fibrils which eliminate the penetration of fine dust and dirt particles. It is also hydrophobic; water vapours can pass through the membrane but water cannot.

Used in applications requiring HEPA level filtration.
