Tetratex® Release is a surface filtration ePTFE membrane, laminated onto a variety of substrates for pulse jet baghouse applications, providing the flexibility to meet your needs. It acts as a primary dust cake requiring no pre-coat before operation.
By limiting fine particulate penetration, Tetratex Release delivers high capture rates whilst helping to preserve substrate integrity and maintain optimum airflow at a reduced pressure drop, resulting in extended bag life and energy savings.
A low cost, high value ePTFE membrane with excellent dust cake release properties
Tetratex Release membrane is highly permeable to air and is most suitable for use where dust particles are primarily larger than 5 microns. By structuring the Tetratex Release membrane with a greater average pore size than our other membranes, it can offer higher airflow whilst maintaining high collection efficiency and consistent filter pressure drop.
Tetratex Release is manufactured from PTFE Fluropolymer resin. It is a chemically inert material that virtually eliminates concerns regarding fibre contamination. Tetratex Release membrane is thermally stable up to +280oc
Features and Benefits
Superior collection efficiency, compared to PTFE coated products and microfibre needlefelts
Tetratex Release results in near-zero emissions for particles larger than 5 microns
Due to the extreme anti-adhesive properties of ePTFE membranes, Tetratex Release typically requires fewer cleaning cycles to maintain acceptable pressure drop than PTFE coated filter media.
A low cost, high value alternative to coated filter media
Delivers added value performance and excellent dust cake release compared to coated filter media and microfibre needlefelts
Tetratex Release can reduce constant operating pressure drop by 20% compared to PTFE coated filter media.
These advantages lead to benefits such as:
Increased filter bag life through less frequent cleaning
Increased production through less down time
Increased profitability through greater baghouse efficiency and lower energy costs
