Donaldson’s Industrial Filtration Solutions Group will be showing its award winning DownfloŽ Oval dust and fume collectors along with Europe's widest range of filtration solutions for industry at the Powtech exhibition.
Utilising Donaldson Oval filter cartridge technology, the DFO range of dust collectors now provides up to 25 per cent increase in airflow capacity, improved airflow path and a 29 per cent increase in pulse cleaning pressure in a compact, highly efficient collector. Being shown on the stand is a DFO 2-8 unit featuring redesigned cabinet with the enhanced pulse cleaning system combining all the benefits of the range.
The DFO collector can handle a wide variety of dusts generated in production processes with fewer filter cartridges. It does this because the new Ultra-Web II oval cartridges create more room in the air plenum, permitting higher flow rates without increasing the velocity of the air stream. With the enhanced pulse cleaning system dust is removed from the filters more effectively improving filter life.
The unit provides a significantly higher air-to-media ratio than any other cartridge dust collector offering greater economy and operational efficiency.
Properly sized for a given application the Downflo Oval 1 takes up less floor space, leaving more room for production plant and equipment. Installation and commissioning is straightforward and quick release handles on the cartridge covers reduce maintenance time and effort.
Examples of one of Donaldson’s most popular ranges, the Dalmatic insertable DLM-V automatic dust collector will also be on display. Ideal for loading, venting, conveying and transfer applications, the Dalmatic is often installed as multiple units eliminating dust in the most demanding environments. Typical applications include use on transfer conveyors, hoppers, air slides, silos, etc.
Designed to cope with high dust concentrations found in manufacturing processes such as conveying of raw materials and particulate products, the filters are inserted directly into the process. Dust build up is automatically removed from the filters via a pulse cleaning system and the dust returned to the process eliminating loss of material.
Also featured will be a selection of compressed air and process liquid filtration and purification products from Donaldson. They are all designed to keep production at peak operational performance and are all from the company that has the expertise to provide filtration solutions for virtually any application.
