The depth filter PP-TF is suitable for several liquid filtration applications. The PP-TF is a pleated polypropylene filter to remove particles with nominal retention rates from 1 µm to 50 µm. The PP-TF filter element has an exceedingly high dirt hold capacity as well as high flow rate with a low differential pressure.

Pleated stainless steel filter for pre- and fine filtration of different liquids
The (P)-SM N filter element consists of a regenerable, pleated filter matrix with stainless steel outer guard and end caps. The nominal retention rate extends from 1 μm up to 250 μm. The (P)-SM N filter can withstand a differential pressure of up to 5 bar (flow from outside to inside) and can be used for temperatures up to +150 °C, with welded end caps up to +200 °C and is also suitable for high-viscosity liquids. The element can be regenerated by means of an ultrasonic bath or back-flush.

The (P)-PP100 C is a pleated polypropylene pre- and fine filter with an absolute retention rate of 1 µm. The (P)-PP100 C has been approved as an absolute barrier to Cryptosporidium and Gardia, for example in potable and drinking water applications.

Polyethersulfone membrane for sterile filtration of water and soft drinks
The (P)-PF-PES „W“ filter element is an absolute filter with pleated polyethersulfone high performance membrane and is especially developed for sterile filtration and microbial stabilization. The polyethersulfone membrane is inherently hydrophilic and distinguishes itself by having an asymmetrically designed pore structure. The pore size steadily decreases towards the centre of the medium resulting in a highly porous structure. The (P)-PF-PES “W” offers absolute retention rates of 0.2 µm, 0.45 µm and 0.6 µm and with LRV>7 for Brevundimonas diminuta at a retention rate of 0.2 µm. The (P)-PF-PES “W” allows for extremely high flow rates at low pressure. It is fully integrity testable in water.

The filter PF-PES “B” filter is an absolute filter with pleated polyethersulfone high performance membrane. It has been developed for cold sterilisation of beer and wine. The filter media polyethersulfone is inherently hydrophilic and distinguishes itself by having an asymmetrically designed pore structure. The pore size steadily decreases towards the centre of the medium resulting in a highly porous structure. The filter PF-PES “B” offers absolute retention rates of 0.2 µm and 0.45 µm with LRV>7 for Oenococcus Oeni and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The filter PF-PES “B” allows for extremely high flow rates at low pressure. It is fully integrity testable in water.

It provides very high flow rates and a long service lifetime even in liquids with high ingredients like beer and wine. The pore size steadily decreases towards the centre of the medium resulting in a highly porous structure. The PF-PES “X” offers an absolute retention rate of 0.45 µm with LRV>7 for Pediococcus damnosus. The PF-PES “X” allows for extremely high flow rates at low pressure. It is fully integrity testable in water.

Hence the filter is especially suitable for all kinds of filtration for aggressive liquids. The all polypropylene filter medium is hydrophobic with a highly porous membrane structure. This ensures high flow rates and a high absorption of particles during the entire service life time. The (P)-PF-PP filter element offers a cost effective alternative to PTFE membrane filters with similar performance and durability range against chemicals. The filter provides retention rates of 0.2 µm (LRV > 7; Brevundimonas diminuta). It is fully integrity testable per Bubble Point Test or Water Intrusion Test.

The (P)-PF-PT filter element is a pleated high performance PTFE membrane filter. It provides the greatest assurance of filtration performance, stability and durability against chemicals even under severe process conditions. The filter element is solely made of PTFE and polypropylene and is thermally welded. This results in an integral filter cartridge which provides maximum durability range against chemicals with minimal extractables. The PTFE filter medium is inherently hydrophobic with a highly porous membrane structure. This ensures high flow rates and a high adsorption of particles during the entire service life time. The filter offers retention rates of 0.2 µm (LRV > 7; Brevundimonas diminuta). It is fully integrity testable per Bubble Point Test or Water Intrusion Test.
