In order to increase the filter life time of sterile filter elements which are regularly steam sterilized it is necessary to eliminate particles from steam with the aid of special filters. For this purpose the (P)-GS N and (P)-GSL N filter elements are a perfect solution.

(P)-GS N
Pleated stainless steel filter is suitable for steam and gases
The (P)-GS N filter consists of a regenerable filter matrix made from pleated steel which ensures high particle and dirt retention, very good flow rate as well as low differential pressure. The heavy-duty construction of the (P)-GS N filter is designed to withstand a maximum differential pressure up to 5 bar with a flow from the outside to the inside. The (P)-GS N offers retention rates of 1 µm, 5 µm and 25 µm and covers a temperature range from –20 °C to +150 °C, with welded end caps and special o-rings up to +200 °C.

Depth Filter for steam and gases
The (P)-GSL N filter element consists of a regenerable pleated stainless steel filter matrix in a stainless steel cartridge and is characterized by high dirt holding capacity at low differential pressure and a high flow rate. The new mesh provides a retention of contamination down to 0,01 µm in saturated steam with an efficiency of 99,96 %. Furthermore the (P)-GSL N filter element offers the possibility of a particularly economic filtration, since the filter medium can be regenerated by ultrasonic bath or by back-flushing. The heavy-duty construction of the (P)-GSL N filter can withstand a differential pressure of up to 10 bar. In addition the filter may also be used in a temperature range of –20 °C up to 200 °C for the filtration of air, gases, steam or liquids.
